Chapter 1 - The Beginning Of A Legend

Miro, the protagonist, was a genius within the Nekomata clan, residing in the land of Nekomiya. At the tender age of 6, he began his training to activate his GENE, and by 9, he was already capable of defeating the clan elders, earning him the title of a once-in-a-century genius. However, at the age of 11, Miro lost his innate abilities and his GENE - the fundamental power he had awakened at 6. For a long period afterward, Miro was ostracized by his clan, scorned by outsiders, and even betrayed by his lover... Unbeknownst to him, Miro had fallen victim to an ancient curse.

At the peak of his despair, Miro stumbled upon an ancient secret manuscript. The manuscript spoke of a mountain, home to a martial arts dojo, where training could potentially help Miro regain his GENE. There, he met Master Shiba Inu, a reclusive expert and the author of the manuscript. Despite trying everything, Miro couldn't reactivate his GENE. However, he managed to learn a unique secret technique from his master which allowed him to control the power of water. His life seemed to turn over a new leaf!

Once again, Miro became the most prominent figure among the younger generation of his clan after mastering the power from the secret manuscript, but he was still not satisfied.

To wash away the shame and betrayal caused by the one he loved most, Miro, seeking to further enhance his cultivation and test his strength, participated in a grand tournament between tribes. There, he defeated numerous powerful opponents. In the final round, Miro faced his former lover, Kira, from the Inuyama clan. Fueled by hatred and the scorn he had endured, Miro unleashed his full power, utilizing the secret technique he had learned, and defeated Kira.

After shattering the pendant around Kira's neck, Miro felt a sense of liberation as his GENE returned to him! He realized that the clan's curse was connected to Kira and the Inuyama. It turned out that an elder of the Inuyama, driven by hatred, had placed the malicious curse on him, and Kira was sent by the clan to approach and poison him when he reached 18. However, still harboring feelings for Miro and unable to carry out the task, partly because he had become powerless after losing his GENE, Kira left.

Upon understanding the whole story, Miro exposed the truth at the tournament. The curse was lifted, and he embarked on a new path to develop himself and explore the world alongside his master.
